Chequer Mead Theatre and Arts Centre is centrally situated opposite two large public car parks in the historic town of East Grinsted. It is within easy walking distance of both the town centre and the mainline railway station, with easy to follow tourist (brown) signposts at all entrances to the town directing the way to Chequer Mead.
As well as the purpose built theatre Chequer Mead also includes the Backstage Bistro Cafe, the Chequer Mead Gallery and the Chequer Mead Rooms.
