Falmer

Falmer has been split in two by the A27 joining Brighton to Lewes. On the south side, the little church and village pond provides a quiet retreat away from the busy dual carriageway, providing the setting for at least one television series. There are some lovely cottages as well as a village school. The other half of the village is on the north side of the carriageway. Lovely houses back onto downland and Godfrey Will, the famous broadcaster, once lived there.
