Landmarks are Treyford Hill at 770ft, and the Shepherd's Church of St Andrews which dates from 1220. The church is always open and is lit only by candles. The bell, the church chest and the lead from the roof were all stolen, but the Faith of Didling prayer for the thieves is displayed inside the church! Local legend refers to hearing elves singing and fiddling in the winding lanes.
