Artur Piazzolla's entertaining Histoire du Tango opens a programme of 19th and 20th century music in various styles, including the famous Gymnopédie by Erik Satie, Francis Poulenc's Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, Erroll Garner's Misty for Alto Saxophone and Piano, Benny Goodman's Clarinet á la King, piano works by Schubert, Chopin and Rachmaninov, and Luigi Bassi's Fantasia da Concierto for Clarinet and Piano.
With wine and canapés.
