The Spread Eagle Hotel is the ideal venue for that special day and our aim is to ensure that your day runs smoothly to enable you and your guests to relax and enjoy yourselves.
Civil Ceremonies
Ceremonies can be held either in the Polo Room, with its high vaulted ceiling - perfect for larger parties (up to 80 guests), or in the Edward VII Room which is in the original part of the Hotel - with its beamed walls and ceilings it creates the perfect atmosphere for smaller more intmate weddings (up to 30 guests).
The Jacobean Hall
With Heraldic Banners hanging from the magnificent stone walls and the Minstrels Gallery, The Jacobean Hall echoes with the centuries of revelry. This private room with its own bar and cloakrooms, is perfect for seated parties of up to 90 guests. The secluded gardens can be candlelit, perfect on a summers evening, allowing you and your guests to celebrate into the night. We can look after parties up to 120 guests for an evening reception.
